My FOX DHX shock is missing something!

Hi Lee,
I have recently discovered your web site and have enjoyed your articles and insight. I know that you are a fan of the Specialized Enduro so I have a question about the Fox DHX 5.0 on this bike. I recently bought a 2006 Enduro Expert and I noticed that the Fox DHX 5.0 shock does not have a separate valve for the secondary cylinder.

Skate park madness No. 2

Last week I took a bunch of monkeys to the Woodward skate park in Lakewood, CO. — and it was extra-double-fun. It’s so non-linear and playful, everything we do is a treat.

Enduro SL: Worth the wait?

(UPDATED WITH BIKE STATUS)
Lee
I am still waiting on an enduro sl. Specialized is pissing me off, they just will not give me a direct answere to when my bike is coming or what the hold up is. If they would just say it will be Feb. or March that would be fine, but it is always next month. I am very frustrated and wondering is the bike that great or should i just get a Heckler? You are the only person known to have one what is your oppinion?
Thanks
Jim

For sale: 1999 GMC Safari XLT AWD

Haul people, bikes, tools or whatever you like in this sweet AWD passenger/work/play van. This extended, all-wheel-drive van has been perfectly reliable since day one. It carries eight people, five people and five bikes, two people and two motorcycles or any combination you can think of. Leather seats and huge rear mats make it easy to keep things clean. The Safari has plenty of power, and it drives very well in snow. This model has the most cargo capacity before you step up to a full-size van. If you’re looking for a do-all, be-all “sport van” (It’s too cool to be a “mini van”), this could be your dream vehicle.

Inspiration and repairs in the desert

Tuesday morning I woke up in Keystone, CO and started driving. I made it through Salt Lake City and pulled off a random exit by the salt flats. I drove up a dirt road, hung a left and found a flat spot. Trucks hummed on I-80 about one mile away, and a full moon hung about 200,000 miles away.
