Shredders from Colombia
Jorge and Diego came from Bogota, Colombia to dial in their MTB skills.
We had two great sessions at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, CO.
These guys have been studying the books Mastering Mountain Bike Skills and Teaching Mountain Bike Skills, so they already had a good base.
In six hours over two days, we worked on:
• Advanced cognitive model of shred
• Ultra-dialed position, with hip alignment
• Stopping on a dime (10 pesos?)
• Pumping turns for traction and speed
• Pumping the h— out of rollers and then rocks!
• Dropping with ease
• Jumping smooooooothly
As fun as mountain biking has been for these guys, they are rolling into a whole new level of fun and Flow.
Diego and Jorge: Tired but stoked at the end of a three-hour Lee workout.
Welcome to Boulder: Jorge rails in the shadow of the Flatirons.

The mountains near Bogota have lots of rocks. We were sure to apply pump track skills to boulders. Jorge gets it done.
Diego nails some rocky backside.
Jorge: “I have always dreamed about jumping, but I never thought I could do it.”
I’m stoked to help you guys. Thanks for coming out!

Long time ago I took this clinic with Lee.
Now, after having riding in trails from different countries, I can confirm that all learned skills are the foundation to become a swiss army shredder..
Thanks Lee for all, Now i´m sharpening what I have learn with the new edition of MMBS.
