DH Camp 6 of 6: Last day of summer

For the last day of Lee Likes DH Camps 2006, The Fix monkeys and I rode at The Hut in Winter Park. For some of the guys, it was the last day before school started. What a way to end the season.

The Hut is on private land near Winter Park, CO, and it boasts a big mountain cross course, perfect dirt jumps, a bermy slalom course and the world’s longest rhythm section. We spent the day sessioning the whole place.

Dylan is supposed to send me photos of everyone. In the meantime, here are a few from my camera.

Petr Hanak was our guest star. The guy pretty much runs on chocolate muffins.

Terrible photo of Joey, but it shows the jump layout. They’re so smooth and well, spaced they inspire you to go bigger than usual.

The berm/slalom trail. Me, visualizing the pro/semi final at Keystone this weekend …

Petr works his way through The World’s Longest Rhythm Section. I lost count at around 22 rollers.
