My Enduro SL with Hayes Stroker brakes felt so dialed, I ripped that trail with impunity.

Lee you have a Stoker review in the works? I would love to hear how they contribute to your ripping with impunity.

I second the request for a full stroker review. I’ve been running El Camino’s for a year or so and while they do have great stopping power and modulation, they also have the tendancy to fade quickly on longer downhill sections. I thought about upgrading to the newer versions of the el caminos, as Hayes claim they’ve improved heat dissipation, but with the release of the strokers I may get those instead.
Come on, spill the beans!

Stay tuned my friends.
I’ve run both the EC and the Stroker, and the Stroker is WAY better. Nicer feel, more power, blah blah blah …

I rode a set of Strokers and didn’t like them. First of all, the mounts needed to be faced which was a pain, considering Avid’s tri-align system corrects this. Second, the lever pivot is far away from the bar so the brakes curve away from your hand more than a Juicy. And third, the lever blade is so dang skinny they hurt my fingers. But whatever floats your boat!
