Fairlee Frey 12-week build to XCE worlds: Week 3

Pro mountain bike racer Fairlee Frey’s (@fairleefrey_mondin) RipRow work already has her shredding harder. Watch the sweet video and see what her trainer Mike Durner (@coachdurner) has her doing this week:

Last week, in addition to being a full-time nurse and a mountain biker, Fairlee did workouts with 5 sets of 5 shredlifts at high resistance. She’s building strength for the sprinting and pumping she’ll encounter at XCE worlds.

This week:

  • Keep the same resistance level.
  • Change from moto stance to bike stance for greater specificity.
  • Double the number of sets so Fairlee does 5 sets with each foot forward.
  • 10 sets of 5 for the win.
