I’ve been wanting to ask how the super wide and low bars are working on your new hardtail? I’ve been wanting to put a bar similar to that on my xc hardtail but am worried it would be more torque than is good for a already lively almost twitchy front end.
The front of Captain America feels awesome. The bar, stem, fork and wheel feel stiff and connected.
I don’t think the wide-ish bars (28 inches) make the front end more twitchy. I think they make it feel more controlled. Of course, I run that width on all my bikes.
