Overview of Mitch Park Bike Park
The kid/beginner pump track is separate from the others.
The beginner-intermediate track (green-blue?) is gonna build some strong pumping and cornering skills.
The intermediate track: berm to berm to berm to berm to stoked!
The advanced track: Some fun/safe ABA-style roller-doubles.
Round and round … Scott works a berm.
Good dirt + water + plate compactor = quick sweetness.
The boys will be riding the advanced line very soon.
Stay tuned!

We live right around the corner and we are looking forward to the track but are you leaving it dirt?
Not sure what you mean. The riding surfaces will be dirt. When we are done, the district will landscape the area.
I’m heading out there tomorrow. Excited to see the progress.
When will this park be open to ride?
Looks fun, excited to come down and ride it.
Me too!
When will the whole thing be ready to ride?
Good to see it take shape!
We hope to be done in a couple weeks.
Dean: Thanks for all your help finding the dirt!
How did this stay under the radar, almost nobody knew this was going on!
Also where did you get the dirt from?
Keeping a low profile ’til we’re done. Hopefully we’ll be done next week.
We brought most of the dirt from Truckee.
Open for riding this weekend? [November 2nd]
Photo updates?
Saw a pic in the Gardnerville paper – looking good!
I shot some photos while I was there the other day. The tracks all came out sweet. Super fun and flowy. Great work by Bruce and Scott. I will post as soon as I can.
Cool – thanks Lee!
Look forward to checking it out this weekend (assuming it’s open)
If the weather is good, the park should be open.
Please help build a sense of community ownership. Don’t ride when it’s so wet the dirt sticks to your tires, and — right now while tracks are bedding in — don’t ride when the dirt is dry. Replace your divots. Be cool. Enjoy!
Awesome I just went to look at it this morning, can’t wait till saturday to mess around on it with my duaghter. its just a short ride down the street from us as I live on palisade. this will be a great way to get in shape for next season! WOOO HOO!
Sweet!
