Going down … but make it awesome

How many of you practice crashing? Not many, I’ll bet.

With a little fun practice your next crash can be a cool story instead of a major injury.

Here’s a good, basic tuck-and-roll from a standing position. Start by doing this from your hands and knees, then step up to this version. When that feels good, do it while walking, then running, then from a moving bike.

Getting hurt sucks. This skill is best learned when you’re a kid (that’s why my kids are in gymnastics), but it’s never too late.
