SOL VISTA BIKE PARK INFO

Hi, I was just told about this bike park. Can you tell me how to get there from Golden? Is it the same trek to Winter Park? How much are the lift tix? Thanx.

Steve Wentz, Mike Moga, TJ Sharp and I are very proud of the trails at Sol Vista. I do the paperwork and Steve runs the trail crew. Everyone says the trails are superfun and flowy. I, of course, agree.

Where: Sol Vista is about 80 miles from Golden. From Denver/Golden take I-70 west. Follow Highway 40 north through Winter Park. Sol Vista is about 15 miles north of Winter Park. The turnoff is on the right, just before City Market. Watch for the little sign. If you enter the town of Grnby, you went too far. Follow the road up to the resort.

How much: Lift tickets are free this season. The lift runs on weekends.

What’s up there: We have five trails of various styles, from easy cruise to full-on DH. Big, fun, safe jumps. Ripping berms. Family friendly. All the goods.

Four new ones plus the original No Pedal No Brakes trail, which is a mellow cruiser and an easy middle-ring climb.
