Dig/ride at Lyons Bike Park this weekend
In preparation for next weekend’s Lyons Outdoor Games dirt jump and pump track comps, we’re going to give Lyons Bike Park some love.

Where: Lyons Bike Park is in the open field just south of the Bohn Park ballfields. Map here.
When: We’ll be out there Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as Sunday afternoon. Come out for as little or as much as you like.
Mission: In order of priority: 1) Dial in the main line on the pump track. 2) Clean up the table and BMX lines. 3) Create new inner lines on the pump track.
Why: This is a grass-roots, low-budget, community-built bike park, and this is the only way to keep it running. Plus we’ll have fun.
How: Don’t worry about that. Come out and I’ll show you what to do.
Bring: I have lots of tools, but bring some if you can: shovels, rakes, tampers, McCleods, push brooms, buckets, wheelbarrows
