PUMP TRACK SURFACE REPORT: DECOMPOSED GRANITE

AA Pro BMXer Jason Richardson recently built a pump track using decomposed granite, and he says it’s working well.

Says Jason:

- His backyard is mostly clay.

- The DG was pretty easy to work with. Pack and ride, pack and ride.

- When it gets wet, it forms a muddy paste. Leave it overnight, and it’s hard as a rock.

- The material contains some rocks, which he occasionally has to sweep away.
