Sign up now: Clinic at the Ranchstyle in Grand Junction
Hey all, registration is up for my April 23 clinic at the Ranchstyle in Grand Junction.
It’s going to be a great time.
Keep reading for the event flyer and more info.
When
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 23
(A race team reserved the entire Thursday clinic.)
What you’ll learn
We’ll quickly touch on the core skills — position, braking, cornering, pump, jump, etc. — then apply them on The Ranch’s awesome terrain. Dual slalom, pump track, jumps … the Ranch has it all. You will improve your balance, control and confidence (and speed!) in all riding situations.
No matter how good you are on a bike, you will learn a lot. You will rip. You will be stoked!!!
You don’t have to participate in the Ranchstyle to sign up for the clinic. Come on out, learn some stuff, ride fun terrain and watch the pros rip.
Who it’s for
I’d say this session is for intermediate to advanced riders, and riders who have already taken my basic class. We will get into some fun stuff. Class is limited to 12 riders.
Rough schedule
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Skills and drills. Rip corners, pump like crazy, jump like pros. Answer your questions. Get you dialed.
[lunch break]
1:30 to 4 p.m. – Apply the skills on Ranch terrain. Slalom, pump track, jumps, it’s all there. The Kona Pumptrack Duels are at 5 … and you’ll be ready!
Cost
$99.
Includes: a core skills handout and a copy of Mastering Mountain Bike Skills 2nd Edition (will be mailed to you when it’s printed in May).
Sign up at the Ranchstyle registration site.
Sweet! Let’s rock this!

Hey Lee do I need to register online or can I register onsite for your clinic?
Thanks
I would recommend signing up ahead of time. Spots are limited for the events and clinics and they are filling up.
Hey Jason,
Please sign up at the main registration page:

This is pretty sweet ’cause the clinic is on the event insurance, and 30% of the fee goes to the pro purse. You know Nick Simcik likes that! 🙂
Reporting from the desert outside Salt Lake City …
