Mountain biking is the best sport ever — and the better you get, the better it gets.

Thanks to the LLB Teaching Method and our rigorous standards, LLB coaches are the most effective in the world.

Ride safer. Ride more confidently. Ride faster. Have more fun.

Half day classes – $150

From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. you’ll learn the fundamental skills that empower great riding. We adjust the class to match the riders and terrain; you can expect to learn about:

Position
Braking
Efficient pedaling
Cornering
Going up and down obstacles
Pumping bumps
Vision and the Sine Waves of Love

When you plug these skills into your riding, you’ll see immediate, tremendous improvement. As you master these skills, it’s a smooth progression to more advanced skills like hopping, dropping, jumping and technical climbing.

When we break for lunch, your half day class will be over. If you want to stay for the whole class (you’ll be stoked; it’ll be hard to stop), we can take payment in the field.

Full day classes – $300

After we cover the core skills above, we eat lunch (BYOL) then apply your new skills on the local terrain. Get ready to ride faster — and easier — than ever before. This is where the sparks start to fly. As one recent client said, “More ah ha moments than a master’s degree.”

Depending on your trails and the riders in the group, you can expect to explore rock gardens, drops, jumps and technical climbs/descents. We’ll have plenty of time to help you reach your goals.

Be ready to work 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a long, tiring and awesome day!

Quotes from the Feb. 6-8 camp in Simi Valley, CA:

“I’m an average, middle-aged recreational rider that was brought into this clinic by friends, and I came out truly transformed and inspired. I learned so many little detailed gems that I use on every ride and now find myself constantly thinking about mountain biking. I watched new riders gain exponential confidence and skills; and a pro rider have ‘ah-ha’ moments that put his riding up several more notches. Perhaps most important, was the grin on everyone’s face, all-day long! Thanks Lee & Team!”

“… a technical, mental and spiritual masterpiece, you will come out of this clinic feeling like a master”

“more ‘ah-ha’ moments than a master’s degree”

“warning – you will not stop thinking about riding after you take this clinic – a truly inspirational journey!”

“… a mountain biking, physical and spiritual journey that can’t be missed!”

    Blake,

I’d love to visit MO. In order to go out there, we need to book three full days, either with private groups or with public classes. If your area has a strong MTB scene and a good venue, this shouldn’t be a problem.

For more details, please email me at lee@leelikesbikes.com and we can make this happen.

    Sweet!

We are in the Austin area. Do you have any planned 1/2 day sessions in 2017 yet? Also I have a 16 year old who has been riding mountain bikes for 7 years. He has just joined the NICA racing, and is new to BMX biking. he hasn’t ever participated in skills training but is very comfortable on his bikes. Question – would the 1/2 day session be a good, challenging option for him? Or is it fairly basic in nature?

Thanks in advance for your response.

    Melissa,

I’ve added you to the LLB email list so you’ll get a note about future classes.

These classes cover the basics, and we also make sure each rider advances as much as possible while remaining safe.

Your son will no doubt have a great time and learn a lot.

    Lee
