   Hi Lee,

   I ordered the 2nd edition from Amazon UK in September 09 and after recently being notified it would be shipped in June 10 they have just emailed me saying the order has been cancelled “We regret to inform you that we have been unable to obtain the following item…..We are no longer able to offer this item for sale. Our supplier has informed us that this item has been discontinued and is no longer available.”

   Any idea what this is about and if it will be distributed in the UK?

   The book is definitely distributed in the UK. Maybe you ordered the first edition by mistake?

   Thanks Lee,

   That is the one I ordered so definitely the 2nd edition. It was direct from Amazon for approx £11, the new price through Amazon marketplace is now nearly £35

   I’ve found it through another retailer and ordered it so may get it next week, can’t wait. I was very tempted to get a signed copy but the exchange rate makes it double the UK price, never mind.

   Glad you got the book, and I’m anxious to hear what everyone thinks.

   All is going well, thanks. I got in a huge climb and flowy descent this morning on the way to a meeting. Had a good meeting, now I’m home and just helped feed the babies.

   Now to clean out the van for tomorrow’s dig day in Lyons. That food in the fridge … has it really been there since Sea Otter?

   Book is solid! Just started reading and the “attack position” has already increased my rippage two-fold (scientifically measured by distance between corners of mouth).
