VIDEO: FIRST LAPS ON NEW SEA OTTER PRO PUMP TRACK

Hey all, I rushed this video onto YouTube.

Jacob Hyde rolls some of the first laps on the newly built pro-only pump track at the 2010 Sea Otter Classic. The track is brand new and still soft, yet he’s hauling mail and already hitting jump options.

Stay tuned for photos and better video.

Stoked on how the camel came out! Your personal track is coming along swell. A little bit of testing and adjusting tomorrow, then going over the final details to finish when you get back

I’m excited to see what you come up with.

Yes, while I am here building this track, Nick Simcik is at my house building my track.

Thanks everyone. I’m about to pull the tarps and get things re-dialed.

Any chance you could get a scale drawing of the track up?

Sorry, no. It’ll be in the Pro edition of Pump Track Nation.

Uh yeah, that has raised the pump track bar quite a bit…

I plan to start updating Pump Track Nation, and do an expanded Pro edition, after the BMX book is printed and done.

On the BMX book, I’ve been waiting on responses from potential distributors/financiers. (To get good profit margin on the book I need to get a lot printed, which takes a lot of money.) I’ll be ready to move forward when I get home from Sea Otter.
