CHECK OUT CHRIS POWELL’S SITE
Hi gang. I rarely do this, but I’ve known Chris Powell for years, and I consider him a friend and good role model.
This season Chris got dropped by Specialized and scrambled to assemble his own race program. He won the Angel Fire 4X on a bike he had to pay for — his first win in five years as a pro. Chris is a fierce competitor, but more importantly he’s a nice guy and a serious business student.
Chris loves riding and racing, but he’s also working hard to make sure bikes remain his passion, not his sole means of support. Hey kids: Ride hard. Study harder.

You guys should go check out his video How-to on Pumping Rythm Sections. It is right up your alley and very well done:

Powell is a pinner and super cool dude. I hope he kills it this year. If he doesn’t have a ride for next year, I’ll sponsor him and give him a bike. And I wholeheartedly agree with the ride hard, study harder moto. Studying hard when you’re young makes it easier to ride harder when you’re old.

Just read on sicklines and his site that he is out for quite a long time. Crash yields a torn acl and bunch of bone damage. Wish him the best through the long surgery, rehab and return to the bike.
