Hi all, I just got back from Sea Otter and high school coach training in Utah. Lots of big adventures. I’ll post reports as soon as I can.
The Ranchstyle event in Grand Junction, CO is still happening this weekend. No changes, as far as I know to the comps or other clinics.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my Friday clinic. I apologize to the riders who registered. Life with a capital L. If you registered for my clinic, I’ll give you $50 off a class in the Boulder area.
... as soon as I catch up with all this work. I’m busy with softwarey-businessy stuff, plus I’m coaching five days this week.
Funny: Today I did some work, coached in Lyons, hauled butt to an appointment in Boulder, did more work, played with the babies, rocked 5×10 on the trainer and now more work. It’s good to be busy, but I’m excited to tell you about Otter. ...
I got me a vanload of tools and bikes and pump track plans. Camped outside Salt Lake City, doing email, ordering Striders for customers, designing some commercial loan origination software (oh yeah!).
Next stop: Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey, CA
Tomorrow: Place dirt with Kyle Ebbett and Jeff Lenosky
Friday: Alex Fowler and his hand-picked AA digging crew arrive. We dig.
about building pump tracks in the Swiss Alps or coaching your womens’ group in Boulder, please email me again. I’ve lost some emails in the past week. lee@leelikesbikes.com
Just when everything seems to be rocking, Superior Bike Park is used as a reason to limit trail access, and a bootleg DH trail is found dropping into the sacred heart of Boulder.

Superior Bike Park, Superior CO:
• I am proud of the park layout and build quality (thanks Nick Simcik and Jerad Fischer). Every line flows like love from a benevolent god.
• Tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, we do a little cleanup. We celebrate. We ride.
• Tamping, sweeping and raking 9 a.m. to noon-ish. Come on out. With minimal effort, you can say you helped build the park. Bring a tamper if you have one. Otherwise, bring feet, rakes and shovels. Oh, and push brooms.
• After work, we eat, drink, share the stoke and RIDE OUR BIKES!
Don’t be surprised if there’s a Pump Track World Championship.
The work is done. TIME TO RIDE!
Park at the end of Honey Creek Lane in Superior.
I was wondering why there have been so few comments. Well, I recently upgraded my site software, and it turns out a crazy plugin got turned on by accident. All better.
Just got home from two weeks on the road. A bit of riding, lots of teaching, tons of Awesome.
I’m still catching up, but I have cool stuff to post.
On the way back: Temps hit -35°F in Wyoming. I had no idea diesel freezes!
Learning experience: If it’s that cold, and your Sprinter is running, don’t turn it off.
