BUDGET GATE PRACTICE

BMW tracks can be hard to get to, and practice gates tend to be pretty expensive. Last season one of my guys, Evan “Wolverine” Powell, employed a creative solution.

Dude, this gate is the antithesis of a BMW HP2 - a $21k, 100hp dirt bike. Crazy … but I like writing about both!

    hey lee,

didn’t they employ the “tie a string on the gate” technology at a UCI 4X race like 2 years ago? if it’s good enough for the likes of lopes and gracia.. it should be good for us CO folks..!

ps.. it would have been really cool if his dad would have said.. “Okay Riders.. Let’s set em UP! …. Riders Ready.. Watch the gate… beep, beep, beep, beep, BEEEEEEP!!!

    P”
