BIKE-PARK MEETING IN SUPERIOR, CO THIS WEDNESDAY
Hey Front Rangers, Superior got its grant and I got the gig to build a bike park in town. We start digging this fall. It’s time to talk details.
If you’re interested in this park, please attend this Wednesday’s meeting of the Superior Parks Rec Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee.
It’s 7 p.m. July 21 at the town hall.
We will discuss:
Which elements to include in the park. I vote for a kids’ area, pump track, beginner jumps, a small start hill and some technical rock features. I do not vote for wooden bridges.
The build plan. We’ll need volunteers.
Park maintenance. We’ll need locals to take charge.
If you have an opinion, or if you just want to be part of something great, come on out this Wednesday.

Any Idea where the park will be located in Superior?

It’s between the creek and the Horizons at Rock Creek apartments. There will also be a dog park and disc golf course.

Nice! Finally something in the area. I cannot make it to the meeting, but I think that a smaller jump line with multiple variations and transfers would keep things exciting. Kind of like the kneecap line at The Fix’s old spot.

I line like that would be fun.
